Tenennbaum, founder of OT-LAW OFFICE, played a significant role in the shaping of the new Civil Procedure Regulations and has published an article on the new tool for hearing (“Preliminary Hearing”) that was integrated as part of the reform of the Civil Procedure Regulations – “Whoever Stands Behind and to my Side and in Front of Me is the One Who Stands” – The Preliminary Hearing as a Playground” (Lawyer Journal, Israeli Bar, Vol. 51, April 2023, Pages 66-69).

Corporate Litigation

OT-LAW OFFICE specializes in professional and optimal legal representation in disputes concerning the corporation, including disputes between shareholders concerning power struggles for control in companies, minority shareholders oppression claims, advice and defense of officers in lawsuits due to breach of duty of care or fiduciary duty towards a company, representation of officers in during corporate insolvency procedures, derivative claims etc.

Tenennbaum, founder of OT-LAW OFFICE, was party to the successful representation (defense) of directors and officers in derivative actions – DC 53151-03-15 Shmuel Shkadi vs. Intercolony Investments Ltd.; CC 6913/18 Shmuel Shkadi v. Radium Investments Ltd. and CA 2903/13 Intercolony v. Shkadi (also known as the “Intercolony Rule“), and published an article on the subject – “The Tail Wags the Dog” – How a Preliminary Procedural Process (pre-pre-preliminary) of “Disclosure of Documents” before Filing a Derivative Lawsuit took “Center Stage” in the “Derivative Lawsuit” (Lawyer Journal, Israeli Bar, Volume 45, May 2020, Pages 93-92).

Appeals

OT-LAW OFFICE specializes in representation in the stage of appeals of decisions and rulings issued by the various courts in commercial-civil disputes, while implementing and incorporating professional and strategic legal thinking that corresponds with the appeals. The office staff is highly skilled and experienced when it comes to representation during the appeal and, in general, has a deep and broad legal vision that helps to correctly identify and analyze the chances of an appeal and the issues that should be the focus during the appeal in order to achieve the optimal result for the client.  

Mediations and arbitrations

The office represents clients in mediations and arbitrations proceedings that take place outside the court in various commercial and civil disputes, several of which are routed to arbitration due to professional issues that must be legally reviewed by a professional and skilled arbitrator while others are routed to arbitration due to the sensitivity involved in the case in hand and the parties’ need to maintain the confidentiality of the information exchanged from outside parties. Adv. Tenenbaum is highly experienced in representing clients in both mediations and arbitrations proceedings, displaying skills and creative vision (out of the box thinking) which complements optimal, professional representation in these unique proceedings. Adv. Tenennbaum is also serving as a certified arbitrator and mediator in various commercial-civil disputes.
